An owner was excited to host a reunion of her school cheerleading buddies. Discovering that the friends had tickets to Broadway musical, ‘Beautiful’, our Director of Residences tracked down the soundtrack on CD. The team created gift bags and had a spectacular arrangement of exotic peonies (the guest’s favorite) delivered while the group was out. With the help of the owner’s son, they had the music playing and the gifts ready for the friends’ return from the theatre. The surprise sparked a sing-along pajama party that lasted until the early hours. The guests were so delighted they treated the team to a cheer in the lobby, pom-poms and all, “Give me an R, Give me an I, give me a T, give me a Z… What does it spell? RITZ!” Our residential team created an experience for a fun-loving owner she and her friends will never forget.

GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND

Our Director of Recreation received a phone call to explain that during a trip to the beach, an owner’s wedding band had gone missing. He and his wife were distraught,  in 23 years of marriage, the ring had never left his finger. The team began scouring the beach, they raked sand and searched with snorkels for two days, but to no avail. Refusing to give up on the ring that meant so much to the couple, they contacted a local diver who had a metal detector. When the diver emerged with the ring he was met with riotous cheers from the beach. That night the entire hotel celebrated the return of this ‘buried treasure’ to its rightful owner.
